Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor and board member for SSC from 2011. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors and text coach. In her final year she served as director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut.
